A Day in 1908 at Wylde Green Train Station.

This beautifully-detailed painting was painted for the Friends of Wylde Green Train Station as part of their stand today at Sutton Coldfield Railway Station, as part of the Sutton Heritage Week 2024 happening this week.

This is the result of months of research into the history of my local station at Wylde Green, with help from Dawn, Nikki and everyone else within the unity group for providing me historical knowledge and reference images to illustrate a very accurate picture of the station in nostalgic colour.

Thank you everyone who has helped in my research and having my painting displayed during heritage week. I am really proud to see it shown to the local community and receive positive compliments.

Once again, thank you ☺️
