The Flight of a Fishing Puffin/

Hediad y Pâl Sy’n Pysgota

Representing my artistic style and breathing life with a sense of graceful movement into the still image, the drawing represents a puffin’s day-to-day routine on the British coast.

Puffins are seabirds of Wales. Atlantic Puffins are fauna that encapsulate the rich coastal wildlife of Wales, commonly found on the Welsh Coast including a special island called Puffin Island in North Wales.

Beginning life in 2023 as an unused illustration for a poem called Upon a Clifftop/ Ar ben Clogwyn, the picture ended up becoming part of Hijinx Exhibition at Cardiff Millenium Centre during the Hijinx Theatre Festival 2024, celebrating nueordiversity within the art industry.

Read more about the exhibition from blog ‘All Hijinxed at the Millenium Centre!!!’ on the website blog page.
